2018 Domaine de Bréseyme, Brézème Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge

Classified as Côtes-du-Rhône since 1937, Brézème has recently been taking steps to obtain ‘Cru’ status. Domaine de Bréseyme have four hectares split between 'Brézème Est' and 'Brézème Ouest' lieux-dits. The Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge is made from 100% Syrah. The vines grow on steep south-facing slopes and limestone, clay and pebble soil.

Tasting Notes: The nose is pronounced with aromas of bramble fruit, black olive and black pepper, with floral notes from the whole-bunch fermentation. On the palate, concentrated black fruit flavours are balanced perfectly by soft tannins and bright acidity.
