The Davide Barbero Torroneria (nougat factory) is family-owned and operated and has a long tradition of producing the finest nougat (torrone). Forget about the kind of nougat that sticks to the teeth, most varieties from this producer are crumbly/melt in the mouth. Only whole Piemontese hazelnuts (which have Protected Designation of Origin status) are used and these are toasted on the premises.
No gelatine is used in the factory.
