Order from anywhere.
We deliver in Britain.
You’re the one who’s away. The hamper doesn’t have to be.
Composed and packed by hand in Sussex, and left at their door on a day you choose. We don’t send outside the UK — which, when the door you care about is a British one, is rather the point.

- The map
- A UK address, or we can’t help you. We’d rather say that here than let you find it out on the payment page.
- The money
- Our prices are set in pounds sterling. Any conversion into your own currency happens at the checkout or at your bank, not on these pages.
- The day
- You choose the date it arrives, any Tuesday to Saturday. It’s a British date: their Thursday, not yours.
Pick the day it lands.
From where you are, the hard part was never the parcel — it was the timing. So don’t buy speed here. Buy a date. You name the day at checkout, and every delivery option is named for what it does with it.
One thing worth holding on to: the date is a British one. If it’s already Saturday where you’re reading this and still Friday in Sussex, it’s Friday that counts. Choose from their calendar, not yours.
Prices in pounds sterling, charged once for each address. Which options you see depends on the address: Northern Ireland has its own. You may also see Free Letterbox Delivery at checkout; it is for letterbox-sized items only.
The box is the excuse. The card is the point.
Your words are printed on the card here in Sussex. It costs nothing, and 84 of every 100 orders carry one. A phone call has to find the right hour in two countries. A card just waits on the mat until they’re home.
A British address, line by line.
If you’ve been away a while — or were never here — a UK address can look oddly short. It runs small to large, the county is usually optional, and the last line does nearly all of the work.
That last line is the postcode: six to eight characters including the space, and the three after the space are always a digit and two letters. Ours is BN6 8SG. Get the postcode right and a parcel will find the door with very little else to go on.
Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, so we deliver there. Its postcodes all begin BT, and it carries its own rate of £14.95. The Republic of Ireland is a different country, and we can’t reach it.
A few remote UK postcodes, mostly the Scottish Highlands and islands, Orkney and Shetland, and the Isles of Scilly, can take one to two extra days. They are still ordinary UK delivery, at the same price, and the exact postcodes are on our delivery page. We can’t deliver to the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey.
- Name
- Theirs, as they’d write it
- Line one
- 14 Mill LaneThe number goes in front of the street, not after.
- Line two
- Lewes
- County
- East SussexOptional — most posties never need it.
- Postcode
- BN7 2AHTheirs, not ours. This is the line that finds the door.
The awkward ones.
The questions nobody rings up to ask from six time zones away — answered here instead, including the one where the answer is no.
Can you send one to me, where I am?
No. We deliver to UK addresses and nowhere else. If the person you’re buying for isn’t at a British address, we’re the wrong shop — and better you hear it here than at the payment page.
What currency am I charged in?
Our prices are set in pounds sterling. Any conversion into your own currency happens at the checkout or at your bank, not on these pages.
My card wouldn’t go through from here.
It happens. Email hello@artisandelimarket.co.uk — tell us what you were trying to send and where to — and we’ll pick it up from there.
Can I talk to a person?
01273 102712, which from outside the UK is +44 1273 102712. It’s a Sussex number, so mind the clock between the two of you. Email travels better across time zones: hello@artisandelimarket.co.uk.
What do people actually spend?
The vessel sets the level: a Presentation Box order typically comes to about £62, a Signature Gift Box £72, a Wicker Basket £128. If you’d rather not build one, the ready-made hampers run from £35 to £230.
Can I send a bottle?
Hampers with alcohol are only sold to, and delivered to, people aged 18 or over. An adult has to sign for it, with photo ID if they look under 25, so choose a day when they’ll be in.
Could anything in it be swapped?
On the rare occasion an item is unavailable due to supplier issues, we may swap it for one of equal or higher value.
I need to send several, to different addresses.
A normal week here — corporate gifting has a form you can send from any time zone.

If it goes wrong
“If anything arrives less than perfect, we make it right.” You won’t be there to check. That’s exactly what the promise is for.
You can’t be at the door. Something you chose can.
Tell us who it’s for and what day it should land. We’ll do the rest, in Sussex.
