Kiruna Mont D'Abruzzo, 75cl

Located east of Rome along the Adriatic Sea, Abruzzo marks the beginning of southern Italy and is renowned as the home of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - named after the Montepulciano grape. While Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is often an affordable, fruit-forward wine, this particular example stands out as a more serious expression, rich with dark fruit flavours and ripe tannins. Its depth and structure make it an excellent pairing for hearty dishes, such as a slow-cooked shoulder of lamb.
